Biblio collects nothing. It only talks to your own Calibre content server, and everything it saves stays on your phone.
What the app talks to
Only the Calibre content server whose address you type in, usually a computer on your own home network. Biblio has no servers of its own: no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting. We (EXTI) never receive anything.
What the app saves on your phone
- The addresses of the Calibre servers you connect to, your user name on each if you use one, and the library you opened last on each.
- Your Calibre password, if you use one, only in the phone's secure storage (Android Keystore). It is sent only to your own server, to log in.
- The books you choose to download, and a list of them, inside the app's own storage.
None of this leaves the phone except to your own server. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it; you can also delete each book from "On this phone", and remove a server with its password using "Forget" on the Connect screen.
Opening books in other apps
When you tap Open, Android hands that one file to the reading app you choose. What that app does with it is covered by its own privacy policy.
Children
Biblio is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
Not affiliated with calibre
Biblio is an independent app made by EXTI. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by calibre or its developers; "calibre" is the name of their software.
